Jairo & Mitzi’s Story

Today we’re excited to share Jairo and Mitzi’s fall engagement session with you! These two are the sweetest couple with the most adorable story. They were engaged in September 2021 on a trip to Playa del Carmen. On the day they got engaged, they got up early to take a walk on the beach and watch the sunrise. Jairo proposed as the sun was starting to rise (how romantic)! Because of their proposal story, Jairo and Mitzi decided to have a beach destination wedding. We’re too excited for the two of you to start your married life together!

Garden of the Phoenix (aka Jackson Park Japanese Gardens)

We took Jairo and Mitzi’s photos at the Jackson Park Japanese Gardens aka Garden of the Phoenix. Fall colors were in full effect for their session! We love how the light of golden hour made the colors come to life. Jairo and Mitzi also have such a natural connection that it was easy to candidly capture their love for each other. We followed as they walked through the paths and interacted with each other. We can’t write about these two without mentioning their outfits! They were super stylish and super chic and the colors looked amazing in the fall light.
