Colin + Kela's Fall Wedding
On a beautiful October day in St. Charles, Illinois, Colin and Kela exchanged vows in a picture-perfect wedding ceremony at Pottawattamie Park. Colin and Kela share a love story that began in 2014 at the University of Illinois and continues to grow stronger year after year. After the couple moved to Denver, Colin asked Kela to marry him on a hike overlooking the Dillon Reservoir. Kela was so excited that she didn’t even remember saying, “YES!” Their fall Illinois wedding could not have been more romantic! Surrounded by loved ones, they started their new chapter in the open-air amphitheater on the river decorated with gorgeous floral arrangements. It was our honor to document the heartwarming and precious moments on their wedding day!
Brewery Reception at Two Brothers Round House
After their touching outdoor wedding ceremony, the party moved to Two Brothers Round House in Aurora, Illinois, for the reception! Colin, Kela, and the bridal party caught a ride in a trolley from the ceremony to the reception venue. This brewery was a stunning venue with a lively atmosphere for an evening of celebration. The couple included some personal touches, multiple disco balls hanging from the ceiling. The main event of the evening was dancing! There were dance breaks between the cocktail hour and the meal to keep everyone in a great mood. Kela and her father even wore special hats during the father-daughter dance.
